~ History ~
1501's ~ James Dunbar inherits his father's estates, which includes their property at Conzie. The Dunbar's continue to hold Conzie until 1660.
1680's ~ Clan Morrison acquire Conzie and build themselves a four storey Tower to secure their land. They however never live in the castle and after acquiring Frendraught Castle, which they deem for suitable for their needs and so abandon the castle which in turn soon becomes a free source of building material for the local population.
