Ardblair Castle is a whitewashed castle with a 17th century tower house set around a courtyard set back from the road surrounded by manicured lawns. Over the courtyard gates are the year 1688 and the arms of the Olihant family.
The castle is strictly private but can be viewed from the road.

1399 ~ Thomas Blair is granted the estate by King Robert III.
1554 ~ Patrick Blair of Ardblair is executed for his part in the murder of George Drummond of Ledcrieff. Other members of his family are also noted for their lawlessness
1792 ~ Ardblair passes to the Jacobite Oliphants of Gask through marriage.
